I am Bart Andries, officiant and speaker at funeral ceremonies.

 

For many years I have been able to guide people through perhaps the most difficult moment of their lives: saying goodbye to a loved one.

 

As a child I listened with fascination to people and their lives.

Today I give shape to those stories, so that they continue to live on in the memories of those left behind.

I trained as a French teacher, but my real school was life itself: the conversations, the silences, the looks that say it all.

 

As a ceremony leader I take the time to listen, feel, understand and then express.

 

With gentleness, with reverence and always with love.
